Dr. Hartmut Sauer (CEO)
With AHC since October 2002. Responsible for the global company and business development of the AHC Group.
Dr. Hartmut Sauer (born in 1967) began his studies of mechanical engineering with a focus on energy plant engineering at the University of GH-Siegen after completing an apprenticeship as a precision mechanic. He completed his studies with a doctorate paper on "Adhesion of metal layers on plastics" with a scholarship from the Stiftung Industrieforschung. Dr. Sauer brought his own company in the field of plastic metallization to AHC in 2002. Before joining the management board of AHC in mid-2010, he spent four years as plant manager with sole responsibility for four European production sites.
Matthias Kester (CFO)
With AHC since April 2017. Globally responsible for finance, controlling and international sales of the AHC Group.
Matthias Kester (born 1966) studied business administration with a focus on marketing and production management at the Fachhochschule, Frankfurt am Main. Mr. Kester began his professional career in auditing with international clients of Ernst & Young GmbH in Frankfurt. He then worked for many years as a sales-oriented CFO and as Director Sales / Business Operations for a well-known American IT manufacturer.
Sascha Freckmann (COO)
With AHC since October 2012. Responsible for the organisation of all German plants, process and plant technology as well as IT.
Sascha Freckmann (born in 1977) initially completed an apprenticeship as an energy electronics engineer in the field of plant engineering, before taking up studies at the Fachhochschule, Gelsenkirchen as a graduate industrial engineer for marketing and sales. He gained his first professional experience as a manager in China. After further positions in sales and as a branch manager, he joined AHC in 2012 as plant manager in Kerpen.
